About the Role Reporting to the Managing Director for Veevers Carter and working closely with Heads of Department, you will be the central driver of all marketing activity across both brands. This is a hands-on, standalone role suited to someone who is confident working independently, while collaborating across creative and operational teams to source ideas and create meaningful content. You will balance strategic thinking with execution - planning campaigns, producing content, and ensuring consistent delivery across all channels. Who you are You take ownership and deliver consistently high standards without close supervision You think beyond execution, understanding the “why” behind content and how it drives results You have a strong creative eye and attention to detail You are curious, observant, and able to identify and shape a strong story You’re confident engaging with people across all levels and functions You stay informed on trends but apply them thoughtfully rather than following them You’re open to evolving with the role and contributing to wider business growth What you’ll achieve Elevate the visibility and positioning of Veevers Carter and Hive Prop House through a consistent, high-quality content and social strategy Build and deliver a content ecosystem that drives engagement, strengthens brand identity, and supports commercial growth Own and evolve the brands’ tone of voice, ensuring all output is distinctive, considered, and aligned Establish clear insight and performance reporting, using data to continuously refine activity Create compelling narratives around projects, people, and processes that bring the brands to life internally and externally Key responsibilities Lead the development and delivery of a multi-channel social media strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest Plan and manage a structured content and marketing calendar, aligned to seasonal activity, industry moments, and business priorities Create and publish high-quality written, visual, and video content that reflects brand standards and engages a global audience Capture and produce behind-the-scenes content, including on-site filming and team interviews where needed Manage day-to-day social engagement, building visibility through active participation with clients, partners, and industry networks Collaborate with internal teams to gather project stories, brief creatives, and develop post-event case studies Support new business activity with strong written content, imagery sourcing, and brand storytelling within proposals Oversee website updates (Squarespace), ensuring content is accurate, current, and aligned with brand positioning Deliver SEO-informed blog content and short-form newsletters via HubSpot Maintain an organised, accessible library of photo and video assets Track and report on performance metrics, translating data into clear insights and recommendations Manage marketing administration, including budget tracking and invoice processing Experience & skills Demonstrated experience managing social media and content for a brand or business with a strong visual identity Strong understanding of content strategy, audience engagement, and brand storytelling Confident copywriter, able to produce clear, engaging content Experience with design and editing tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar) Comfortable working across multiple platforms and adapting content accordingly Experience managing websites (ideally Squarespace) and basic SEO principles Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Proactive and self-directed, with confidence working as a sole marketing function Working style This is a hybrid role with a mix of independent working and collaboration across teams. You’ll be trusted to manage your own workload while staying closely connected to projects, people, and activity across the business.
