Marketing Specialist - Customer Engagement (CRM)
As a Marketing Specialist - Customer Engagement (CRM), you will support the delivery of digital marketing activity, developing and implementing our email and push strategy, key activities and campaigns. Reporting into the Customer Engagement Manager.
Assisting in the planning, execution, and optimisation of email communications and campaigns to drive customer engagement, retention, and sales. This role will leverage strategy, creativity, and data analytics to deliver targeted, high-performing communications to customers that enhance engagement with Morrisons.
Responsibilities
- Execute plans in line with agreed calendar activity and key customer moments (customer plan, launches, trade activity)
- Ensure that all campaigns are planned and delivered on time and meet brand guidelines. Inclusive of promotions, loyalty, product launches, seasonal campaigns
- Ensure that the media plan is competitive and reaches customers in both a timely and relevant format.
- Customer segmentation and targeting; understand the target audience, be dynamic with content
- Be an active participant of a high-performing, engaged, and diverse team, focused on compelling communication, service, sales, and profitability
- Report and track campaign effectiveness through Salesforce
- Shaping and delivering CRM campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to deliver the marketing strategy and trading plan
- Work closely with the rest of the marketing team to deliver and integrated communications plans

About You
For this role, someone who has:
Experience needed to progress to interview
- Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and understanding of developing campaigns
- Evidence of delivering consumer-centric digital communication and campaigns
- A strong reputation for a positive outlook and supporting others to succeed
- Experience of developing communications strategy and translating this into business delivery: sales, profit, and cash
- HTML and SQL experience
- Experience with utilising customer data and aligning to GDPR guidelines

Knowledge
- Knowledge of the Retail and Marketing industry, particularly digital
- Commercial and financial understanding
- Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms and CRM systems
- Knowledge of loyalty programs and promotional mechanics
- Understanding of retail loyalty programmes
