Marketing Specialist – MFS

The Role
With oversight from a manager, the Marketing Specialist supports the delivery of marketing activities that align with the business and help elevate the MFS brand and capabilities. Responsible for tasks and deliverables across multiple small-to-mid-sized programs and/or promotional efforts, ensuring the development of strategically sound marketing assets as determined by the Senior Marketing Manager.
What You Will Do
- Work collaboratively within the Marketing Strategy and Activation, Strategy, and Insights group, as well as broader MFS departments (e.g., distribution, product, compliance, and legal) to achieve shared objectives.
- Support the Senior Specialist in proactively managing contributors to guide project teams in establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Execute assigned tasks to support managers and colleagues in business analysis and marketing planning, understanding client segments, target markets, and the MFS philosophy and strategies to assist with execution.
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues to initiate and successfully deliver a variety of project types.
- Support integrated marketing communications campaigns, overseeing tasks from initial execution to completion.
- Assist with event strategy, including contract management and the delivery of integrated promotional activities such as email campaigns, social media, and exhibition branding.
- Foster strong partnerships across teams to ensure quality and efficiency of work.
- Support key business partners by responding to requests and addressing concerns in a timely, professional manner, building trusting relationships that result in client satisfaction.

What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 0–2+ years of relevant work experience in marketing, sales, and/or finance, preferably within financial services or a related industry.
- A customer-service focus, strong problem-solving skills, and a solutions-oriented approach.
- An organized self-starter who can work independently on routine tasks, demonstrating attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple programs simultaneously.
- Capacity to operate effectively under pressure, shifting priorities (as guided by management) in response to changing business demands while adhering to deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) with experience collaborating across all organisational levels.
- Experience working with creative service teams to develop sales and marketing support materials.
- Willingness to travel, as needed, to engage with target markets and attend financial services or marketing industry meetings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Technical aptitude to manage workflow, CRM, marketing automation, and design tools, as appropriate.
