THE ROLE
With oversight of a manager, the Marketing Specialist supports the delivery of marketing activities that align with the business and help elevate the MFS brand and capabilities. The role ensures the development of strategically sound marketing assets as determined by the Senior Marketing Manager. Responsible for tasks and deliverables related to multiple small-to-mid-sized programs and/or promotional efforts.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Work collaboratively within the Marketing Strategy and Activation, Strategy and Insights Group and broader MFS initiatives, including distribution, product, compliance, and legal, to achieve objectives
- Provide key support to the Sr. Specialist, helping to proactively manage contributors and ensuring project teams establish priorities while meeting deadlines
- Understand and complete assigned tasks to support managers and colleagues in ongoing business analysis and marketing planning
- Assist in aligning with client segments, target markets, and the MFS philosophy and strategies to facilitate the execution of marketing plans
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues to kickstart and successfully steer various projects including integrated marketing communications campaigns, managing responsibilities from initial execution to completion
- Support and lead event strategy through the contract process and deliver integrated marketing promotional activity (e.g., email, social media, brand visibility at exhibitions)
- Foster strong cross-team partnerships to ensure quality and efficiency in work delivery
- Act as a point of escalation for key business partners, promptly addressing requests and concerns, prioritizing client satisfaction and trusted relationships

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience in marketing, sales, and/or finance, preferably within financial services or a related field
- Customer-focused professional with strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated, responsible individual able to work independently on routine tasks, showcasing meticulous attention to detail and managing multiple programs simultaneously
- Ability to execute effectively under pressure, adjusting priorities with manager guidance in response to dynamic business demands while adhering to deadlines
- Excel at interpersonal communication (written and verbal), with effective collaboration across all organizational levels
- Hands-on experience working with creative service provider teams and processes—to develop sales and marketing assets
- Willingness to travel when necessary for meetings with target markets or industry engagements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Technical capability in workflow, CRM, marketing automation, and design tools (where relevant)
