About Bolt
Bolt is shaping a future where cities are built for people, not cars. What started as an ambitious project of a 19-year-old in 2013 has grown into a global mobility platform used by more than 200 million customers and 4.5 million driver and courier partners across 50 countries.
From ride-hailing and food delivery to scooters, e-bikes, and car-sharing, Bolt helps people move through cities every day. Small, autonomous teams drive this work, combining the speed and ownership of a startup with the scale of a global technology company backed by more than €1bn in funding.
And we're just getting started.
Why join Bolt?
- Build the future of mobility and help transform how people live and move in cities.
- Tackle challenges at scale that span technology, operations, regulation, and growth.
- Take real ownership early. Small, lean teams mean your decisions matter from day one, and you'll learn fast alongside some of the best people in the industry.
- Join one of Europe's leading technology companies, backed by world-class investors including Sequoia.
About The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on marketer to help grow Bolt’s brand across the UK & Ireland. Working closely with the Local Marketing Manager, you’ll execute local marketing initiatives across our Rides and Micromobility businesses, managing everything from user communications, copywriting, and social media to localising campaigns for regional audiences. You’ll play a key role in building driver communities, adapting global campaigns to local markets, and delivering high-impact marketing initiatives that drive growth.
Note: This is a 6-month fixed-term contract role
Main Tasks And Responsibilities
- Support the execution of local rider and driver marketing initiatives across the UK & Ireland, driving growth across key markets.
- Manage local marketing communications, including social media, push notifications, in-app messages, emails, and blog posts, ensuring timely and engaging content.
- Strengthen Bolt’s local presence by understanding audience preferences, delivering authentic messaging, and maintaining the brand’s distinctive voice.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns across various verticals, applying marketing funnel and app growth principles to drive acquisition, conversion, and retention.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with central marketing teams (Performance, Design, Brand, Lifecycle, Social Media, Influencers, and Growth) to execute campaigns while ensuring brand consistency and alignment.
- Analyse campaign performance, prepare structured reports, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on key marketing metrics.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
