Marketing Volunteer

We are looking for a Marketing volunteers to support our team. We advocate and support people with hypermobility, related conditions and those who are neurodivergent; offering resources and promoting awareness, health education care.

What Difference Will You Make?

This is a crucial role in raising awareness, engaging the community & promoting our mission to support individuals with symptomatic hypermobility (EDS, HSD), neurodivergent conditions (Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Tourette's, Dyslexia,) & more.

What Are We Looking For?

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, preferably within the charity, disability, or health sectors.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with experience in creating digital content.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including website management, SEO, social media and email marketing.
  • Ability to create engaging content for charity audience, and key stakeholders to amplify the charity’s message.
  • Ability to track marketing performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and reliable, using your initiative to make things happen.
  • Passion for our vision at SEDSConnective.

What Will You Be Doing?

What The Role Will Look Like

  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy aligned with our mission.
  • Manage campaigns, webinars, events, and outreach to boost charity's brand awareness and support.
  • Maintain brand identity and ensure consistency across all materials.
  • Help raise brand awareness.
  • Oversee website, social media, and email communications.
  • Create engaging marketing content and supporting campaign materials, including blogs, visuals, and newsletters.
  • Promote events, campaigns, and advocacy initiatives.
  • Support fundraising efforts through marketing materials.
  • Track and analyse marketing performance to improve outreach.
  • Work alongside other volunteers.
  • Collaborate with the PR team for key marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure working in lock-step with social media team and website teams for marketing campaigns.

Key Role Info

  • Hours: 3-7 hours per week
  • Location: This role is completely remote so you can work from wherever you wish!
