The Role

As a Marketo Consultant (Contractor), you’ll lead high-value engagements in EMEA or North America, offering remote, client-facing support. This is a hands-on, execution-driven role—owning the client relationship, designing roadmaps, and delivering end-to-end Marketo implementations, optimisations, and integrations, primarily with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

You’ll untangle complexities and ensure clients achieve rapid, scalable time-to-value with minimal hand-holding.


Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Marketo Implementation

    • Lead and support full Marketo Engage (Adobe Ad Cloud) deployments tailored to enterprise needs.
    • Customise platforms to align with business objectives.
  • CRM & Integration Expertise

    • Design, implement, and troubleshoot data flows and APIs between Marketo & Dynamics CRM.
    • Build robust integrations and resolve technical blockers.
  • Managed Services Support

    • Oversee campaign execution, program optimisation, and lead lifecycle management.
    • Ensure data quality assurance and platform stability post-launch.
  • Client Advisory & Client Relationships

    • Directly manage client relationships, report on progress, and align stakeholders.
    • Lead weekly syncs, facilitate workshops, and translate technical specs into clear strategic roadmaps.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with BPX Solution Architects and Project Managers to meet delivery timelines.
    • Work seamlessly with internal engineering teams during standard business hours.
  • Knowledge Creation

    • Document implementation processes, technical configurations, and workflows for current and future projects.

Requirements

Mandatory

✅ Certifications

  • Active Adobe Certified Professional/Expert in Adobe Marketo Engage.

✅ Experience

  • 3-5 years of enterprise-level Marketo experience, including implementation and managed services.

✅ Technical Expertise

  • Proven ability to configure, troubleshoot, and optimise Marketo-to-Dynamics CRM integrations.
  • Hands-on knowledge of APIs, web services, and middleware.

✅ Client & Project Management

  • Experience leading client relationships and managing accounts autonomously.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and deliver scalable solutions.

✅ Availability & Flexibility

  • Work primarily during standard EMEA or North American business hours.

✅ Communication

  • Exceptional English writing and verbal skills, including attention to detail (e.g., UTM parameter accuracy).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Familiarity with agency or MarTech consultancy workflows.
  • Exposure to A/B testing frameworks, analytics, and journey optimisation in Marketo.
