Marketplace Executive – Vivactive

Vivactive, an award-winning fast-growing eCommerce business based in Telford, is expanding its team to welcome a driven and commercially minded Marketplace Executive. In this highly impactful role, you’ll help scale our marketplace channels from £0 to £5m in sales, bringing fresh ideas, energy, and expertise to shape the future.

The Opportunity

As our Marketplace Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and growing Vivactive’s presence across major online marketplaces like Amazon and eBay. Your responsibilities will span performance optimisation, account health, strategic growth initiatives, and ensuring seamless customer experiences. This is an opportunity to make a tangible difference in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

We’re seeking a proactive problem-solver with a data-driven mindset—someone who thrives on ownership, continuous improvement, and collaborative leadership.


Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Management

  • Oversee day-to-day performance and optimise marketplace channels (Amazon, eBay, and others)
  • Manage account health, liaising with operational teams to ensure high performance standards and seamless customer experiences
  • Scale ecommerce operations through deep process understanding and efficiency improvements
  • Optimise product listings for visibility, traffic, and conversion
  • Monitor pricing, promotions, inventory, and account performance metrics
  • Conduct regular audits of listings to ensure compliance, accuracy, and quality
  • Analyse performance data to identify growth opportunities and improve conversion rates
  • Collaborate across internal/external partners to maintain and optimise product feeds and templates
  • Troubleshoot feed errors and system issues, supporting automation and integration improvements
  • Implement ** Republishing** strategies and stock management systems

Strategic & Feedback-Driven

  • Provide actionable insights to management to influence operational changes
  • Recommend performance-boosting actions based on data and experience
  • Continuously benchmark and refine marketplace success strategies

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for a commercially savvy, organised professional with a passion for eCommerce growth.

Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • Experience managing Amazon Seller Central and additional marketplace platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with confidence in Excel (advanced data analysis beneficial)
  • Demonstrable track record of driving growth through data-informed decisions (e.g., increasing conversion)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Proactive mindset with experience managing multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with external vendors and internal teams

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Understanding of SEO, marketplace PPC, and feed optimisation
  • Background in eCommerce, retail, healthcare, or outdoor/gardening
  • Familiarity with Rithum (or similar multichannel tools like Responsive Media, ChannelAdvisor)
  • Fluency with Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or price-tracking tools
  • Firsthand experience with auto-populated listing tools, repricing algorithms, and regionalisation strategies
