Amazon Marketplace Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high growth international consumer brand with a strong presence across Amazon marketplaces throughout Europe.

Reporting into the Head of Amazon, you will play a key role in translating strategy into action, leading a team of marketplace specialists and driving profitable, sustainable growth across multiple Amazon territories.

Working within a collaborative, cross-functional environment, you will partner closely with Marketing, Advertising, Operations, and Commercial teams to deliver best-in-class execution across content, launches, promotions, and marketplace performance.

This role combines strategic thinking, commercial ownership, people leadership, and hands-on Amazon expertise. You'll be equally comfortable setting direction, solving complex challenges, and supporting the wider team to achieve ambitious growth objectives.

The Role

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of marketplace specialists, creating a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and results.
  • Provide clarity around priorities, objectives, and ways of working across multiple markets.
  • Support individual development through regular coaching, feedback, and performance management.
  • Foster an engaged and motivated team environment through strong communication and leadership.

Strategy & Marketplace Growth

  • Partner with senior leadership to turn strategic goals and objectives into practical execution plans.
  • Ensure content optimisation, product launches, and promotional activity are delivered to a consistently high standard across all marketplaces.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and Amazon contacts.
  • Balance short-term trading performance with longer-term growth opportunities and strategic initiatives.
  • Support key commercial discussions and act as a trusted deputy when required.

Commercial & Analytical Ownership

  • Drive a culture of data-led decision-making, ensuring focus remains on outcomes and commercial impact.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and emerging opportunities, sharing insights across the business.
  • Lead regular performance reviews focused on actions, accountability, and measurable results.
  • Work closely with Advertising teams to align marketplace activity with wider performance marketing objectives.
  • Own and continuously improve reporting and dashboard infrastructure, ensuring clear visibility of marketplace performance.
  • Oversee content management workflows, maintaining high standards of data quality, accuracy, and syndication.

What Success Looks Like

During your first 12 months, you will:

  • Review and optimise processes for new product launches and promotional activity, implementing measurable improvements.
  • Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business and Amazon ecosystem.
  • Increase team efficiency by streamlining processes, automating low-value tasks, and clarifying ownership.
  • Take ownership of core reporting frameworks and deliver improvements to visibility, insight, and decision-making.

About You

  • Strong experience managing Amazon Vendor (1P) accounts within a complex, multi-market environment.
  • Commercially minded with a track record of delivering growth and performance improvements.
  • Experienced people leader who enjoys coaching and developing teams.
  • Confident building relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience using reporting and business intelligence tools.
  • Passionate about ecommerce, marketplaces, and driving commercial success.
