An opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Markets Team for the role of Markets Operative.
The Markets Operative role provides a range of operational services that ensures the safe and efficient day to day function of the St Nicholas Markets team.
Examples of responsibilities include:
- Carrying out a range of cleaning, waste disposal and recycling tasks
- Unlocking, locking and securing premises and open space sites
- Setting up, moving and dismantling market and event equipment
- Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance to buildings, infrastructure and equipment
The starting pay is £25,989 per annum.
