Job Description

Data, Markets & Corp IT is looking for a Senior Program Manager responsible for end-to-end ownership of complex, cross-functional programs that deliver strategic change across the organisation. The role ensures initiatives are well-governed, on track, aligned to strategy, and delivering measurable outcomes, while managing dependencies across multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders.

Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed in hybrid, in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

  • Drive executive-level decision-making through concise reporting.
  • Own and manage strategic programs from initiation through delivery and closure.
  • Translate strategic objectives into structured programs and workstreams.
  • Manage interdependencies across projects, teams, and geographies.
  • Establish and maintain program governance, including cadence, reporting, and escalation.
  • Track milestones, financials, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure alignment to business outcomes (revenue, resilience, efficiency)
  • Maintain a clear, consolidated strategic view across Markets and AI portfolios
  • Drive consistency across Markets and AI delivery without creating overhead
  • Support senior forums, product reviews, and strategic discussions
  • Drive clear, outcome-focused storytelling (shift from activity → impact)
  • Raise quality and consistency of narrative across Markets Tech and AI initiatives
  • Ensure alignment across: Markets Tech, Product teams, AI / DMCAI, Key dependency orgs (GTS, etc.)
  • Identify and resolve misalignment early to protect delivery outcomes
  • Support the most critical initiatives by: Providing structure, Challenging direction, Ensuring clarity of outcomes and risks
  • Ensure focus on high-impact, business-led AI use cases
  • Bridge Markets Tech, Product, and DMCAI to enable scaled adoption
  • Drive AI prioritisation based on measurable outcomes
  • Align AI initiatives to enterprise strategy and industry best practice
  • Maintain a single, transparent AI Book of Work to support prioritisation and decision-making
  • Embed and maintain a standardised AI engagement model (intake → governance → delivery → handover)
  • Enable reuse, reduce duplication, and promote scalable solution patterns across DMC

Additional requirements

  • Financial services or regulated environment experience required.
  • Proven experience delivering large, complex programs in matrixed organisations.
  • Strong program management / PMO background.
  • Executive stakeholder engagement experience.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and influencing skills.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field
  • Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Must be a faster learner and multi-tasker
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and executive reporting skills.
  • PMP, PgMP, Agile or similar certifications desirable.
