MDM Materials Data Improvement Analyst
Location: Leicester
Salary: £26 – 28K per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8 – 4, hybrid is 3 office, 2 home, with Mon-Wed being the office days
Job Type: 9 Month Fixed Term Contract – Full Time Hours
Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be supporting a leading organisation in the search for an MDM Materials Data Improvement Analyst to join their growing Master Data Management team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of materials and inventory master data processes while helping to drive digital transformation across the business.
Working within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, you'll be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve data quality, streamline processes and deliver innovative automation solutions. You'll also support the ongoing development of AI-enabled tools and contribute to the organisation's transition towards Oracle Fusion.
The Role
As MDM Materials Data Improvement Analyst, you will work across a range of initiatives focused on data quality, automation, reporting and digital enablement. You will have the opportunity to help shape the future of Materials Master Data services through the use of technology, analytics and continuous improvement methodologies.
Key responsibilities will include:
AI & Digital Innovation
- Develop and maintain AI-powered support solutions for materials and inventory management processes.
- Build and enhance Copilot agents to support business queries and user self-service.
- Create knowledge articles, FAQs and digital guidance tools.
- Promote the adoption of AI-enabled solutions across the wider business.

Process Automation
- Design, develop and maintain Power Automate workflows.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual administration and repetitive tasks.
- Deliver automation solutions to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse recurring inventory and master data issues.
- Develop dashboards, trend analysis and management reporting.
- Monitor data quality and produce exception reporting.
- Generate actionable insights to support operational decision-making.
Self-Service Solutions
- Develop digital forms and workflow solutions.
- Create user-friendly self-service processes.
- Produce guidance materials and troubleshooting resources to improve the user experience.
Systems & Transformation Support
- Support innovation and automation opportunities within Oracle Fusion.
- Participate in digital transformation projects.
- Deliver proof-of-concept solutions and support wider technology adoption initiatives.
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who have experience within data management, process improvement, automation or continuous improvement environments.

You will ideally possess:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation.
- Good understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
- Experience with Power Automate, Power BI or Microsoft Copilot would be advantageous.
- Previous exposure to inventory management, materials management or supply chain operations would be beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle would be advantageous but is not essential.
- A proactive approach and genuine enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
