DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role EXN's customer and vendor data is currently fragmented across multiple ERPs (NetSuite, SAP, Jiwa, Sage), inconsistently structured in HubSpot, and not reliably linked across systems. The same partner can appear with different IDs, names, and structures depending on which system you look in — making campaign targeting unreliable, account-level decisions inaccurate, and operational processes manual. The Master Data Analyst is the long-term solution. In the meantime, there is significant work to do: defining what the data should look like, documenting what exists, measuring the gap, and working with IT and the MDM team to prioritise and track resolution. As Master Data Analyst is implemented there is a need to define how master data is structured, how authoritative sources are determined across systems, and how records are matched and merged to form a trusted golden record. The Master Data Analyst sits at the intersection of business and IT. They translate what commercial teams need from the data into quality requirements the technical teams can act on — and translate the technical reality of what the data contains back to the business in terms they can use. As the Master Data Analyst, you will: Define and document data standards, validation rules, and quality thresholds for the Customer/Partner and Vendor domains Design and maintain a data quality scorecard for the Customer/Partner and Vendor domains, covering dimensions such as: completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness. Maintain a structured log of known data quality issues, categorised by domain, system, and business impact Support HubSpot data cleanup planning: define what the target state for HubSpot company records should look like; establish quality criteria for the reimport; help sequence the cleanup Operate the MDM stewardship workflows for the Customer/Partner and Vendor domains: review match proposals, approve or reject merge recommendations, manage exceptions Contribute to the development of EXN's data governance operating model: RACI for data ownership, escalation paths, data steward responsibilities across domains, and the principles governing how master data decisions are made QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you The ideal: Master Data Analyst 5-8 years' experience in master data management, data quality, data governance Understanding of master data management concepts, including golden record curation, match and merge and survivorship Experience of working with multiple source systems and resolving data errors across them Demonstrated ability to define data quality standards and metrics — not just identify problems, but structure and measure them Strong analytical skills; be comfortable interrogating data in SQL, Excel, or BI tools to investigate quality issues Experience producing data quality reports and domain documentation for non-technical business audiences Understanding of CRM or ERP data structures: accounts, contacts, hierarchies, and relationships WHO ARE EXCLUSIVE NETWORKS? | Why work for us We are people focused and strongly believe that talent empowers us to continue our dynasty of disruption and growth in the future. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
