Senior / Master Vehicle Technician
About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Master Vehicle Technician to join our Volvo dealership in Wakefield. In this role, you will carry out advanced diagnostics, repairs, and servicing across a wide range of vehicles, including the latest electric and hybrid models.
Essential Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a busy workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities, with experience in complex repairs
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- A full, valid UK driving licence

Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and software updates in line with manufacturer standards
- Conduct detailed vehicle inspections, accurately identifying faults and recommending necessary work
- Communicate technical information clearly and professionally to customers and colleagues
- Ensure all tasks meet company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and industry regulations
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workshop environment, following all health and safety procedures
- Oversee servicing, repairs, and parts replacements to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

About You
You will ideally bring:
- Level 3 IMI qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills, especially when liaising with Service Advisors and customers
- Leadership ability, with the confidence to support and guide other technicians
- A genuine interest in modern automotive technology, including electric and hybrid vehicles
- Experience working with EV and hybrid systems (desirable)
