About The Role
What if your years of advanced research and deep domain expertise could directly shape the reasoning capabilities of the world's most powerful AI systems? We're looking for Masters and PhD-level researchers to tackle complex, multi-disciplinary problems that push AI to its limits — helping the world's leading AI labs build smarter, more rigorous models.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for serious researchers. If you've spent years solving hard problems in a STEM or technical field, this is an opportunity to put that expertise to work on something genuinely groundbreaking.

What You'll Do
- Design and solve advanced, multi-disciplinary problems with real-world relevance across your domain of expertise
- Apply your research background to craft complex problem statements that challenge and sharpen AI reasoning
- Review and evaluate AI-generated outputs for academic rigor, accuracy, and depth
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to improve model performance
- Ensure the highest standards of clarity, precision, and intellectual integrity across all deliverables

Who You Are
- Holder of a Master's or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field
- Proven track record in research, publications, or complex technical project management
- Exceptional written communicator — you can explain difficult concepts with precision and clarity
- Naturally detail-oriented with a systematic, rigorous approach to problem-solving
- Self-directed and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment
- Based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand

Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation systems
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other research-oriented programming languages
- Familiarity with AI model training or evaluation workflows
- Cross-disciplinary research experience spanning multiple technical domains
