About The Role
What if your years of advanced research could directly shape the intelligence of tomorrow's AI? We're looking for Masters and PhD-level researchers to bring their deep domain expertise to one of the most consequential challenges in modern technology — teaching cutting-edge AI models to reason, solve, and think at a graduate level.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for researchers who want to put their expertise to work on something genuinely important — without sacrificing the autonomy of academic life.

What You'll Do
- Design and develop complex, multi-step problems across your domain that challenge and sharpen AI reasoning
- Apply your research expertise to craft problem statements with real academic depth and real-world relevance
- Review and evaluate AI-generated solutions for correctness, rigor, and conceptual accuracy
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve model performance
- Ensure every deliverable meets a high standard of clarity, precision, and academic integrity

Who You Are
- Holds a Master's or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field from a leading university
- Strong track record in research, peer-reviewed publication, or complex technical project management
- Exceptional written communication skills — you can explain hard things clearly
- Detail-oriented and rigorous — you hold your work to a high standard
- Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously without hand-holding
- Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand

- Experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or AI-related quality assurance
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other research-oriented programming languages
