About the Role

We are seeking a Matchday IT Support Assistant (casual) to deliver responsive first-line technical support, ensuring all hardware, software, and network issues are resolved efficiently. You will also set up, configure, and install new equipment, maintain accurate asset records, and support during both executing match days and occasional out-of-hours activities.

This opportunity allows you to contribute to smooth IT operations and provide professional, reliable, and proactive technical support during high-pressure matchdays.

Your Responsibilities

  • Proactive Technical Support:
    • Provide responsive first-line assistance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues efficiently.
  • Equipment Setup & Deployment:
    • Install, configure, and deploy new computers, workstations, and cabling to required technical standards.
  • Asset Management:
    • Support equipment audits, tracking, and upkeep of user assets, ensuring accurate, up-to-date records.
  • Operational Support:
    • Assist with ad hoc events, hardware rollouts, and desk moves, including out-of-hours support when required.
  • Matchday Delivery:
    • Maintain matchday IPTV systems and digital signage, performing screen checks, validating content, and troubleshooting display issues.

What We Are Looking For

  • Tech Enthusiast: A genuine passion for technology and desire to learn/grow within the field.
  • Foundational IT Knowledge: Understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
  • Analytical Problem-Solver: Strong troubleshooting skills for technical issues.
  • Customer-Focused Commonicator: Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Flexible Availability: Prepared to support match days, events, and critical out-of-hours needs.
