About the Role
We are seeking a Matchday IT Support Assistant to provide responsive first-line technical support on a casual basis. In this role, you will:
- Ensure efficient resolution of hardware, software, and network issues
- Set up, configure, and install new equipment to established standards
- Support matchday operations with IPTV and digital signage, ensuring a seamless fan experience
- Maintain accurate asset records, assist with equipment audits, and provide out-of-hours support when needed
This position is critical to maintaining reliable, professional, and proactive IT support during high-pressure matchday scenarios.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:

First-line technical support:
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues proactively
- Provide fast, efficient resolutions to minimize disruption

New equipment deployment:
- Set up, configure, and install new workstations, computers, and associated cabling to meet standard operating procedures

Asset management and audits:
- Support equipment tracking, audits, and maintenance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock and hardware

Operations support (including out-of-hours):
- Assist with ad-hoc hardware rollouts, desk relocations, and emergency tech issues
- Provide matchday incident response, including after-hours technical support

Matchday technical delivery:
- Carry out screen checks and content validation for IPTV and digital signage
- Troubleshoot displays, report issues, and ensure seamless fan experiences during matches
Requirements & Essentials
We’re looking for a technology enthusiast with:
✅ A passion for IT – Hands-on interest in hardware, software, and networking ✅ Foundational IT knowledge – Ability to understand and apply basic troubleshooting principles ✅ Analytical problem-solving skills – Strong ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently ✅ Customer-focused communication – Clear, friendly, and professional interaction with staff and stakeholders ✅ Flexible availability – Committed to supporting matchdays, events, and occasional out-of-hours requirements
