Material Control Assistant

Are you organised, proactive, and looking to build a rewarding career in Supply Chain and Procurement? At Envea UK Ltd, we’re looking for a Material Control Assistant to become an important part of our friendly and collaborative team in Swavesey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing or purchasing experience, or for a motivated individual eager to begin a career in Supply Chain. You’ll gain hands-on experience across purchasing, stock control, supplier management, and production support within a growing international business.

- Communicating daily with suppliers via phone and email to track orders and deliveries
- Updating and maintaining our ERP system with accurate, real-time information
- Supporting the production team with delivery updates and resolving material shortages
- Purchasing materials, consumables, and equipment required for production
- Assisting with supplier onboarding and maintaining supplier relationships
- Carrying out stock checks and investigating inventory discrepancies
- Helping resolve invoice queries and maintaining purchasing records and reports
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from candidates who are:
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Confident communicators with strong written and verbal skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other IT systems
- Interested in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Manufacturing operations
- Positive, reliable, and eager to learn

Skills & Experience
- GCSEs (Grade 4/C or above) and A-Levels (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in Purchasing, Manufacturing Administration, or Material Control is beneficial but not essential
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Sage would be an advantage
