Material Control Supervisor

If so, apply today to work as a Material Control Supervisor for our client, a professional yet friendly company who specialise in making and developing chilled meals for the top UK supermarkets, making over 3.7million chilled meals every week.
Staffline is recruiting a Material Control Supervisor in Wrexham.
The rate of pay is £15.46 per hour.
Overtime is available and is paid at £23.19 per hour.
This is a full-time role working a fixed night shift and the hours of work are:
- 18:00pm to 06:00am
Your Time at Work
As a Material Control Supervisor, you will supervise night shift staff to deliver and control all yield products to lines for support with Plan attainment and maintain GMP with focus on Health & Food Safety first.
Key duties:
- Daily submission of shift report (teams).
- Ensure daily Cycle count by stock room completed.
- Investigate materials variance.
- Action of concessions and waste on System 21.
- Allocation of Holidays.
- Spot checks of Area GMP/CCP using daily sheets.
- Shift reporting H&S Hazards/Near misses.
- Shift Handover.
- Shift 2hour SIC updates.
- Daily start-up sheets.
- Liaise with LRK Supervisor & HCA supervisor on materials issues wherever necessary.
- Ensuring accurate information given reference stock receipts, holding and movements to accounts and HRA department.

- A sound academic background with good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer literacy with a level of systems/scanning knowledge within Oscar Mayer Systems.
- The ability to work well against rapidly changing dynamics to plan / tight deadlines.
- A good problem solver attitude with quick thinking.
- Able to delegate actions to staff to make sure work is completed on time and in line with Plan.
- Knowledge of supervising staff and challenging performance.
- Good level of flexibility required.
- Strive for 100% plan attainment level.
- Strive for 100% CCP/ Quality attainment level.
