Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Electricity Transmission division. We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.
We're ideally looking for someone to cover projects around the London area, but the role could include travel UK-wide according to project requirements. Willingness to travel and stay away where required is essential!
What will you be doing?
- Assessing pro-actively, the project requirements prior to the start of construction, including plant, materials, consumables, site establishment (mob / de-mob), vehicles and PPE.
- Communicating effectively with all stakeholders in order to achieve the timely delivery, receipt and control of all project and site requirements.
- Administering of Project procurement via the company electronic system, for equipment, materials and / or supplies in accordance with company processes and procedures, from placement of requisition, through to delivery, goods receipt and purchase order close out.
- Building and maintaining of the Project filing, stock and data base registers required to support the project and site management process.
- Controlling the Stores Management and associated inventory, including on-site issue. Monitoring, reviewing and reporting on inventory levels by physical count, recordkeeping, and / or visual inspection.
- Inspecting and verifying deliveries. Validating and reconciling invoices against purchase orders.
- Governing of plant and equipment on / off hire, damage / loss / theft, over or shortage reporting, non-conformance, asset register, scrap and waste management. Production of associated reports

What You’ll Bring
- Experience with ERP systems
- Excellent IT Skills
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures
- Worked in a similar industry or role
- Able to manage a team
- Able and willing to travel for work where required
- Flexible to work weekends and overtime as required
