Role Details
The Logistics Material Coordinator will support the Material to Site function by driving and aiding the material preparation and configuration of all outbound material to site, based on the installation plan. They will ensure traceability and accuracy of material dispatched against the asset tracking system/s and LTQRs and escalate any issues where materials require additional work to allow dispatch to site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry a positive Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) outlook while representing and promoting a strong HS&E culture throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Attend coordination meetings covering procurement, expediting, and warehouse inventory for all MEH material.
- Coordinate and communicate materials between material package managers, warehouse teams, and construction teams.
- Accumulate data from a 16-week lookahead to support scheduling deliveries and installation material by specified material category and/or construction area.
- Provide data input and visual aids (tables, charts) to support forecasted material data.
- Assist in cataloguing, identification, issuing/receipting of material, and data input into the asset management system (AS9) per the Weekly Installation Plan.
- Collaborate with planning, engineering, logistics, and site-wide teams to ensure seamless movement, storage, care, and integration of construction materials.
- Report to the Materials Preparation and Configuration Manager, highlighting process improvements, HS&E optimizations, and reporting structure enhancements where shortfalls exist.

Key Deliverables
Technical Knowledge & Expertise
- ** Konstruktionst.M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) disciplines and related material: **A thorough understanding of construction industry standards, material handling, and storage requirements, particularly in nuclear construction.
- ** Procurement or warehouse asset management **experience.
Material/Asset & Process Management
- **Proven track record **in material/asset management with expertise in quality-driven processes ensuring lifetime records are maintained throughout the full end-to-end workflow.
- Contribute to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), recording data and identifying process shortfalls for continuous improvement.
- Generate Equipment Acquisition and Disposal Reports for plant, material, and equipment maintenance.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Document coordination efforts with production, engineering, and logistics teams.
- Environmental sustainability reporting on efforts to promote energy efficiency, waste reduction, and impact assessments.
- Maintain organised records and documentation for audits and adherence to regulations.
Key Requirements
- Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant certifications or equivalent qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3).
- Preference for 3 years' experience in warehousing, equipment, or supply chain management, with a focus on regulated industries (preferably nuclear or energy).

- Technical Standards:
- Strong administrative, quality, and asset management skills.
- **Industry-specific certifications **encouraged (e.g. IAM: Certificate or Diploma in Asset Management).
** Health & Safety Compliance **
- Valid CITB MAP HS&E test certificate or CSCS Card (or equivalent).
