Purpose of Role

Working as part of the Logistics Team, on a shift pattern to cover a 24/7 operation, to maintain the data accuracy of the IT systems (SAP and MAXIMO) by recording all necessary information regarding inventory stock levels, work orders and the tracking of serialised equipment’s. The individual is responsible for completing all aspects of the logistics functions daily activities including Off Loading, Goods Receipt and Material Issuing through the appropriate standard processes, whilst maintaining Maximo integrity and liaising with Production to manage the Maximo Maintenance System.

What are my key responsibilities?

  • To complete general Stores activities, including Off Loading, Goods In, Material Locating and Material issuing. Use mechanical handling equipment to complete standard tasks and activities within the Stores area, the depot and to support Production where required to ensure the safe completion of activities.
  • Completing accurate material quantity audits for different types of material, ensuring the completion of standard audit documentation and the timely updating of the IT systems to reflect the audit results.
  • Processing unserviceable material from site back to the dedicated repair agents. This includes packaging, labelling and producing the appropriate documentation.
  • Responsible for achieving the desired 5s housekeeping standards on a shift by shift basis by maintaining their working environment to eliminate safety risks, hazards and untidiness. Work with the wider Team to identify continuous improvements to increase the level of storage standards, identify risks and solutions and improve the material flow through the Stores.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Experience within a stores environment
  • Knowledge of SAP systems
  • Desirably currently holds Counter Balance and Flexi Truck licences.
  • Ability to liaise with other departments and supplier
