Material Handler
Material Handler – Lisburn (Full-time)
About the Role
The Material Handler will work closely with the Materials Manager and Production Value Stream Leaders to ensure production materials are:
- Kitted and prepared accurately
- Distributed to production cells at the correct time and in the correct quantity
- Supply chain accuracy verified and maintained
Key Responsibilities
- Organising booked materials into the designated cell and correct bin based on demand
- Managing parts bin sizes to optimise storage and space utilisation
- Conducting frequent cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory levels
- Managing data entry in Excel and maintaining build event report upkeep
- Handling kitting of parts for production and shipment
- Managing Kanban triggering systems and Kanban boards
- Ensuring IMAG (Inventory Management At Gemba) materials are presented correctly
Requirements
Essential
✅ Experience within inventory or logistics environment ✅ Math’s & English GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C or above ✅ High degree of attention to detail with the ability to follow processes through completion ✅ Valid forklift and reach truck license ✅ Full clean driving license
