Material Handler
Material Handler
The Material Handler will work closely with the Materials Manager and Production Value Stream Leaders to ensure that production materials are:
- Kitted
- Distributed to production cells at the right time and in the right quantity
- Stock levels verified for accuracy
Key Responsibilities
- Organizing booked materials into the designated cell and correct bin
- Managing Parts bin sizes to optimize space utilization based on demand
- Conducting frequent cycle counting of parts
- Performing data entry in Excel and maintaining reports
- Kitting parts for production and shipping
- Managing and triggering Kanban cards and maintaining the Kanban board
- Maintaining IMaG – Inventory Management At Gemba materials presentation
Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Experience within an inventory/logistics environment
- Maths & English GCSE or equivalent at Grade C or above
- High degree of attention to detail
- Ability to follow projects through from start to finish
- Valid forklift and reach truck license
- Full clean driving license

Desirable
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Oracle systems (preferred)
- Manual handling experience
- Narrow aisle forklift license
