Responsibilities:
- Assist in controlling the material flow within the Commercial Parts Department.
- Ordering directly from suppliers for ancillary equipment as and when required for customer projects (external suppliers)
- Raising purchase/framework orders for logistics partners
- Raising shipping documentation (GAI, Packing list) for export shipments
- Organising and manage the process to obtain letter of credits and certificate of origin from the Chamber of Commerce.
- Prepare items for Despatch and create DAANs as required.
- Prepare KITS as directed by Cell Leader/ Material Handling Operator in Commercial Spares.
- Prepare TEST as directed by Cell Leader/ Material Handling Operator in Commercial Spares.
- Manage inventory to achieve timely and cost-effective customer deliveries.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance the Commercial Parts Business, and possible opportunities for cost reductions.
- Work collaboratively with other departments and maintain compliance with all appropriate HSQE procedures and processes.
- Where necessary, assist Despatch Department in packing orders ready for collection by couriers.
- Assist in the factory move from Poole to Bournemouth Airport, possibility of using Reach and Bendi trucks, and fork lifts.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Basic knowledge of SAP is desirable
- Ability to use a forklift for loading and unloading lorries.
