Material Intake Quality Auditor | £29,350 base salary | Days Only | Overtime Available
We are currently looking for a Material Intake Quality Auditor who would be responsible for product food safety as well as quality, systems, processes, procedures & GMP to ensure they comply with the set internal and customer requirements and specification, including auditing and closure of non-conformances. This role will involve visiting multiple sites throughout the shift, so a driving license is a must!
Shift Pattern
We operate a rotational shift pattern covering 7am to 7pm covering days only. You will work a total of 14 days over a 28-day period. Typically, you would be working as follows:
- Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
- Week 2 - Wednesday & Thursday

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of all materials received into the factory, ensuring they meet the necessary standards and specifications
- Oversee the intake of materials, ensuring they align with business requirements and production needs
- Comply with all micro and pesticide testing schedules, ensuring that necessary tests are conducted and standards are met
- Perform audit inspections when required to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
- Ensure that all manufactured products meet customer specifications, comply with legal requirements, and adhere to quality and safety standards
- Maintain audit readiness at all times, ensuring strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards across all factory operations
- Maintain accurate records and logs of all activities in accordance with established procedures
- Conduct pest control inspections and checks as required
- Lead and complete specified projects as directed, ensuring timely and successful outcomes

Experience Required
- QA or similar experience working within the food industry, ideally experience in short shelf-life products
- Food safety Level 2
- HACCP
- Driving license & access to a vehicle
- Basic understanding of Microbiology
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and Food Safety compliance
- Working knowledge of Auditing techniques
- Computer literate, good oral and written communication skills.
