Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Materials Team.

You will be part of a team that looks out for each other in a positive working environment.
You will work primarily with the Materials Controller and will assist them with the receiving, packing, and shipping of deliveries as well as picking component parts for our Production team. Accurate stock levels are key to us achieving our >97% OTIF delivery statistics and you will help with our perpetual stock take to manage these levels. Attention to detail is imperative in this role and as such you should be organised and methodical in your approach to work. Many of our components are tiny and as such you will need to have good dexterity and eyesight to be able to perform this role.

You will also work with the Materials buying team to help contact our suppliers to make sure that deliveries are on time, and we are aware of any issues in advance.
A confident phone manner and excellent written communication skills are essential to deliver upon this part of the role.
Full training will be provided.
Job Responsibilities
Work with the materials controller on the perpetual stock check programme. Receiving goods, booking stock in and storing in line with procedures. Kit works orders ready for production. Assist in despatch of sales orders including packing and booking of couriers. Periodical review of process and effectiveness of stores layout and processes. Open Order book updates and order progressing. Liaise with the production planner so up to date supplier delivery information is shared. Maintain and update supplier contact information. Communicate important feedback from suppliers internally. Support Materials team where required. Work towards company and personal KPI's.

Essential Requirements
Proven work experience as an administrator in a dynamic office environment. Excellent organisational and multitasking skills. Ability to manage and prioritise workload. Understanding of company performance metrics. Hands on experience with MS Office (MS Excel in particular). A team player with high level of dedication who can work using their own initiative. An ability to learn new things as upon completion of training a good level of understanding is expected on products, processes and the company systems.
Desirable Experience
ERP software experience. Stock control and/or manual handling experience.
