Materials Controller
What You’ll Do
The materials controller will be responsible for materials component movement across the back planes and field bus lines within Eaton Electric Ltd ensuring material accuracy, kitting and storage in a safe and timely manner.
- To move materials from goods inwards to materials storage locations.
- Actively control the VMI process within the Luton site.
- Address material shortages by way of Gemba log and communicate to manufacturing team.
- Investigate material inaccuracies highlighted during cycle counts.
- To understand and embrace the company's 6S culture.
- To support and enact continuous improvement activities.
- Cycle count materials as requested and required.
- Work in a safe controlled manner and report all non-conformance's.
- Raise any BOM related issues to ensure material control.
- Work with the operations team to raise all material NQF when component quality is at risk.
- Work with the operations team to ensure delivery line order delivery.
- Carry out all reasonable tasks as required.
