Job Opportunity: Materials Handler (Days – Stores Team)
Role: Materials Handler – Days Shift Location: On-site (Specific units: Unit 37 & Unit 21/22) Reports to: Materials Handling Team Leader
At Airedale by Modine (Modine), we’re looking for an experienced Materials Handler to support our Stores team in handling parts logistics, ensuring smooth operations between production orders and despatch.
Key Responsibilities:

Parts Processing & Order Fulfillment:
- Pick and identify parts for AHU and spares orders
- Handle parts for both UK and Export despatch (always compliant with relevant standards)

Packaging & Dispatch Coordination:
- Bundle parts safely in boxes, crates, or pallets for transport
- Liaise closely with Courier Drivers to ensure timely consignment readiness

SAP & Logistics Management:
- Book parts in/out through the SAP computer system
- Create and send daily manifests/courier instructions accurately

Operational Support:
- Provide cover for Stores duties across Unit 37 and Unit 21/22 (flexibility to rotate roles)

- Customer Engagement:
- Facilitate professional and prompt client collections, maintaining high standards of service
Required Education & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Computer Literate (confidence in tracking systems and software)
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Capacity to operate independently with a strong initiative
- Outstanding communication skills (clear and professional interactions)
- Forklift Truck (FLT) licence preferred (training provided if you currently don’t hold one)
-SAP experience is desirable, but not essential (training will be provided).
