Are you an experienced Supply Chain or S&OP professional with a background in FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing?

We're recruiting for a Planning & Materials Manager to join a successful manufacturing business, leading the Planning and Materials teams to deliver an effective S&OP process, optimise inventory and ensure excellent customer service.

The Role

  • Lead and develop the Planning and Materials teams.
  • Drive the S&OP process, balancing demand, capacity and material availability.
  • Deliver robust production plans and improve supply chain performance.
  • Manage supplier performance and material flow.
  • Improve KPIs including OTIF, inventory, stock turns and waste reduction.
  • Work closely with Operations, Procurement and Commercial teams to drive continuous improvement.

The Successful Materials & Planning Manager

  • Proven S&OP, Supply Chain Planning or Materials Planning experience within FMCG or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
  • Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel knowledge.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with Lean manufacturing experience.
