Material Specialist
As a Material Specialist, you ensure the availability of raw materials and compounds to support smooth and uninterrupted production.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage end-to-end supply of compound raw materials.
- Schedule in-house and intercompany compound production.
- Ensure alignment between material availability and production demand.
- Manage the order and control direct and indirect materials, working closely with suppliers.
- Monitor stock levels, balancing availability, cost, and waste.
- Collaborate daily with Production Planning, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams.
- Support administrative activities, including invoice validation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across processes and costs.
Your Experience
- You bring a structured and collaborative approach, with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of manufacturing environments.
- Experience in materials planning, supply chain, or logistics.
- Understanding of production processes and material flows.
- Experience managing raw materials or production inputs.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with high data accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Solid knowledge of Excel and SAP.
- Team-oriented, flexible, and proactive mindset.

Nice To Have
- Experience with planning/MES systems (e.g. POMS).
- Knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in compound or chemical manufacturing.
- Exposure to intercompany material flows.
