About the Role
One of our clients is hiring Materials Science Experts to teach AI how to interpret and solve complex technical problems. As a domain expert, you will create rigorous technical prompts, evaluate AI model responses for engineering accuracy, and ensure frontier AI adheres to the highest standards of technical reasoning—all on a fully remote and flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text generated by AI models
- Craft challenging technical prompts and provide expert-level answers in Materials Science
- Evaluate and rank AI-generated responses for accuracy within the field
- Review and refine AI-generated reasoning chains for technical correctness
- Deliver clear, precise written feedback on engineering reasoning and methodologies
- Collaborate with the expert community to uphold quality standards

Required Skills
- Ability to clearly and precisely articulate Materials Science concepts in fluent English
- Strong analytical reasoning and meticulous attention to technical details
- Adaptability to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Materials Science or related fields (such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physical Sciences)
- Proven experience as a practicing engineer, researcher, or equivalent demanding technical/analytical position

Compensation
- Up to $150 USD/hr
- Weekly payouts via platforms like PayPal or AirTM
