Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $60 - $90/hour
Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Mathematics Professor/Researcher (PhD) to work on a contract basis. The role involves theoretical and applied research in advanced mathematical frameworks, with a focus on algorithmic innovation and computational efficiency. Candidates will contribute to high-impact projects in AI and data science, leveraging deep mathematical expertise to solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine mathematical models for AI-driven applications, including optimization and probabilistic reasoning.
- Conduct rigorous theoretical analysis to validate and extend existing algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate mathematical insights into scalable computational solutions.
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals or present at academic and industry conferences.
- Mentor junior researchers or graduate students in advanced mathematical concepts.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
- Proven expertise in mathematical modeling, numerical analysis, or computational mathematics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or Julia for mathematical simulations.
- Strong background in statistics, linear algebra, or differential equations.
