Role Involvement
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons tailored to pupils with Autism and additional learning needs
- Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning profiles
- Support pupils' confidence in numeracy
- Work closely with:
- Teaching Assistants
- Therapists
- Maximise engagement and achievement
Requirements
The school is looking for:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Previous experience in:
- A specialist SEND school
- Autism provision
- Inclusive mainstream setting preferred
- Patient, reflective and adaptable teacher
- Understanding of the importance of:
- Structure
- Routine
- Positive relationships in supporting autistic learners
