Are you a Maths Graduate looking to begin your journey into teaching? This is an exciting opportunity for a Maths Graduate to join a spectacular secondary school in Barnet as a Trainee Maths Teacher from September 2026.

This Trainee Maths Teacher role is ideal for a Maths Graduate who is passionate about supporting young people in Maths and is keen to work towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through structured in-school training.

This Maths Graduate position offers a clear pathway into teacher training, with full support to develop into a qualified Maths teacher while working as a Trainee Maths Teacher.

  • Full-Time, Permanent Role | September 2026 Start
  • Salary: £28,000 per year (training role for Maths Graduate)
  • Progression to £37,870+ upon achieving QTS
  • Strong Maths degree required (minimum 2:1, Russell Group desirable)
  • A* or A in A-Level Maths required
  • Supporting KS4 and A-Level Maths as a Trainee Maths Teacher
  • Structured training route towards QTS for a Maths Graduate
