Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant | West London | September Start | Full-Time

Are you a Maths Graduate looking to gain valuable school-based experience before pursuing a career in teaching, educational psychology, data science, finance, or another education-focused profession?

We are recruiting a motivated Maths Graduate to join a highly successful and OFSTED Outstanding secondary school in West London. This full-time Teaching Assistant position offers an excellent opportunity for a Maths Graduate to work alongside experienced teachers and support students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

The Role

As a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students during Maths lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
  • Deliver targeted interventions and small group support
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
  • Help students develop confidence, problem-solving skills and mathematical understanding
  • Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities
  • Gain valuable experience working within an OFSTED Outstanding school

The Ideal Candidate

  • A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
  • A genuine interest in education and working with young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Enthusiastic, professional and proactive approach
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
