Maths Lecturer – Engineering (1 FTE)

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Maths Lecturer – Engineering to join the team at Preston College from late August.

Preston College, St Vincent's Road, Preston, Lancashire, PR2 8UR

Start Date: Late August
Pay: £28.00 per hour (PAYE) | £35.00 per hour (Self-Employed)
Type: Temporary ongoing role

About the Role

  • Deliver Mathematics to Engineering students across Level 1 to Level 4.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support learners in developing strong mathematical skills relevant to engineering.
  • Inspire and motivate students while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience teaching Mathematics, ideally within an Engineering or Further Education setting.
  • Ability to deliver Maths across Level 1 to Level 4.
  • A passion for supporting learners and helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Teaching experience or a recognised teaching qualification is desirable, although candidates with strong subject knowledge and relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.
