Maths Trainee Teacher - Salaried / Funded Training
Are you a high achieving Maths graduate keen on a career in teaching?
If so, EdEx are working with a Good & Outstanding Secondary School in Hounslow who are looking for a Maths graduate. The role would see you initially start as an academic mentor, supporting Maths classes and delivering independent interventions, before embarking on funded teacher training from September 2027.
Maths Trainee Teacher - Job Description
September 2026:
- Start as a teaching assistant, supporting Maths classes across the school, from KS3 to KS5
- Deliver interventions to encourage progress, targeting individual needs and ensuring students achieve the best outcomes
- Throughout the year, slowly pick up a teaching timetable, fully supported by a mentor

Daily rate: £115
July 2027:
- Become a permanent member of staff with the school as an unqualified teacher and get paid over summer holidays!
Training Salary: £30k+
September 2027:
- Begin a fully funded and salaried teacher training programme
- Receive full teacher training, developing you into an outstanding teacher
July 2027:
- Receive QTS and have a job lined up for the following September

- Must hold a 1st class or 2:1 degree from a reputable university
- Aspiring Teacher
- Strong academic background at A-Level and GCSE
- Confident, enthusiastic and resilient personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
