Job Description

Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for leading the nursing workforce within identified clinical units to ensure the delivery of patient-focused, high-quality nursing care.
  • To work across organizational boundaries to ensure services are patient-responsive, ensuring the delivery of national and local strategic, operational service objectives, and Trust Key Performance Indicators.
  • To take appropriate and effective action where any principles of care or professionalism fall below agreed, acceptable standards.
  • To be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day running of the clinical units, the management of designated staff, and the delivery of key quality and service improvements.
