An interesting and exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Cancer Services at Warwick Hospital in the MDT Team.
Job Details
The position offers an agile working arrangement, combining both office-based and remote work. While some days may be spent working from home, the number of remote working days will depend on the needs of the service. The successful candidate will be expected to work from the office as required. This post will require weekly Monday working hours to be 10am - 6pm.
Role Overview
As the facilitator of an effectively run MDT meeting, the successful candidates will play a key role in helping with the delivery of cancer targets for the trust by ensuring that the journey of each cancer patient runs smoothly and is progressed in a seamless and timely manner.
The post holder will work closely with the wider trust including clinicians, general managers, service managers, nurses, secretaries and other administrative staff.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal post holder will have previous experience with working within the NHS and previous administrative experience with an understanding of cancer plans, standards and targets.

Responsibilities
- As the facilitator for multi-disciplinary cancer team meetings you will ensure that MDT meetings run effectively and that the journey of each cancer patient runs smoothly and is progressed in a seamless and timely manner.
- To collate and analyse sensitive clinical information from multiple Trust data collection systems and track of each patient pathway in a timely manner identifying and escalating delays in the pathway.
- Support the collection, collation and input of clinical and non-clinical audit data to meet all national standards and targets.
- Prepare and maintain all related documentation ensuring treatment plans are recorded in the medical notes.
