Working as part of the mobile engineering team you will contribute to the delivery of an effective proactive contract within the Water Industry. You will be part of a two-person team, primarily unblocking wastewater pumps in Wastewater Treatment Plants and Wastewater Pumping Stations, and occasionally carrying out preventative maintenance on pumping equipment as and when required.
You will start the working day from home traveling directly to any site as required to carry out work. Work will be issued on electronic devices running our work management software. A van, fuel card, and Satellite Navigation will be provided to each two-person team.

Location: Mobile NI
Hours per week: Mon-Fri, 40 hours
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
The M&E Assistant Shall
- Assist various trades as required, particularly when health and safety denotes that a two-person team is required (i.e., confined space entry)
- Unblock wastewater pumps in Wastewater Treatment Plants and Wastewater Pumping Stations
- Carry out preventative maintenance on pumping equipment as and when required
- Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to
- Sourcing materials, collecting from wholesalers, and distributing as necessary
- Liaise closely with our control hub to ensure efficient response to all works
- Ensure our client is kept up to date at all times
- Carry out all works within agreed timescales
- Deal with a variety of Clients on a daily basis. You will represent the Company and be courteous and professional in your dealings with them at all times

About You
Technical Competencies
Essential Criteria
- Full Valid UK Driver’s License
- Previous experience working around mechanical or electrical equipment
Desirable Criteria
- CSR Card or equivalent
- Previous experience working in the water industry
- Confined space training
- National Water Hygiene card holder
Confined Spaces and Water Hygiene Training will be provided if required.
Please note that Applicants will not be expected to meet any (or all) of the desirable criteria to be considered for interview. Desirable criteria will only be used as part of the shortlisting process in the event there are a large number of Applicants.
