Job Opportunity: M&E Manager in Croydon
A well-established construction company is currently seeking a dedicated M&E Manager to oversee their M&E division in the Croydon area. We are looking for a candidate who embodies not only managerial skills but also an entrepreneurial spirit, as the role entails building the division from the ground up. This is a fantastic chance to make a significant impact and take initiative in a thriving sector.
Job Duties
This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role. They will be responsible for building the division from the ground up. The M&E Manager will be responsible for leading all operations from installation to completion, managing budgets, and procurement to ensure optimal commercial performance. We are actively delivering projects from our existing work stream and are keen on securing additional external projects to grow our division further.

Successful candidates will oversee teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery. We place great importance on providing technical leadership, particularly in electrical systems, which we believe is crucial for enhancing our client relationships.
Additionally, the M&E Manager will work directly with clients, representing the business in a professional manner.
Job Requirements
- Electrically bias with excellent technical knowledge.
- Confident in mechanical and plumbing understanding.
- Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and profitability.
- Professional, client-facing, and able to build strong relationships.
- Hard-working, self-sufficient, and comfortable taking ownership.
- Energetic, ambitious, and motivated to grow a new division as if it were their own company.
- Experienced in managing people or leading teams.
- Looking for a genuine career-building opportunity.
