M&E Sales Coordinator

Christmas Coordinator Vacancy – 2025

V Hotels know how to party and we’re looking for lively Christmas Coordinators!

We are seeking several Christmas Coordinators to join our team from now until the end of December 2025. You’ll help promote and coordinate an array of festive events, including:

  • Corporate parties
  • Private events
  • Pub & Grill gatherings
  • Family celebrations
  • Children’s events, as part of our comprehensive Christmas Programme

Key Responsibilities

Event Planning & Outreach

  • Assist with sales planning, identifying target attendees for all events
  • Conduct outreach to local businesses, schools, colleges, sports clubs and retail partners (e.g., business parks)
  • Conduct in-house promotional activities to generate interest and secure new bookings, such as:
    • Leisure club membership engagement
    • Lobby hosting events
  • Proactively engage with past and potential new customers via telephone to:
    • Secure event bookings
    • Answer queries and address concerns
  • Conduct upsell phone calls targeting guests staying over the Christmas period

Event Coordination & Administration

  • Coordinate and manage event logistics, including:
    • Processing payments
    • Settling menu & beverage choices
    • Accommodating special requests
  • Learn and utilise our booking systems, ensuring accurate and timely updates in the Sales System
  • Research exposure opportunities for events, utilising:
    • Local organisational intranets
    • Social media channels
    • Public and private promotional forums

Daily Sales and Operational Support

  • Maintain the Sales System with daily figures, including new ticket sales and payment reconciliations
  • Chase final balance payments to avoid last-minute delays

Person Specification

To excel as a Christmas Coordinator, the Successful Candidate will:

  • Be charismatic, personable and embrace engaging conversation
  • Demonstrate a target-driven and detail-oriented approach
  • Adapt flexibly to evening and weekend work as required
  • Show strong telephone and client-facing confidence
  • Possess knowledge of social media and communication strategies
  • Display excellent written English and customer service skills (no prior hospitality experience required)
