M & E Supervisor – North Middlesex University Hospital (Full-Time)
About the Role
Equans is seeking a M & E Supervisor to join our team at North Middlesex University Hospital, offering a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
What You Will Deliver
As an M & E Supervisor, you will support and oversee critical maintenance functions, ensuring high-quality delivery while meeting performance targets:
- Supervise water management systems, internal fabric team, and specialist contractors
- Manage planned maintenance tasks from allocation to completion
- Plan and oversee work schedules to ensure timely and quality delivery
- Allocate work promptly to meet client satisfaction and performance targets
- Monitor staff performance, attendance, and compliance with company policies
- Maintain accurate work records and manage material orders
- Liaise with clients and resolve any issues effectively
- Complete risk assessments and operate maintenance data systems
- Support emergency response and participate in on-call rota
- Assist with staff training, investigations, and colleague coverage when required

Who Are You?
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced supervisor with the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in supervising maintenance teams and managing contractors
- Strong skills in planning and monitoring planned maintenance to meet high standards
- Competence in using maintenance data systems, preparing risk assessments, and methods statements
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, management, and staff to deliver exceptional service
- Reliability to participate in a 24-hour on-call rota, including weekends and bank holidays
- Commitment to health and safety and upholding quality and customer service standards
