Equans is looking for a M&E Supervisor at the University of Brighton. This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, providing crucial day-to-day supervisory and coordination responsibilities to ensure excellent delivery of mechanical, electrical, fabric, and grounds maintenance services.
What will you deliver?
Supervise engineers, operatives, and contractors to ensure timely, quality completion of maintenance and reactive tasks Monitor KPIs and manage records in the CAFM system Conduct audits and inspections, generating reports and recommendations Ensure accurate completion of paperwork and compliance documentation Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong stakeholder relationships Chair monthly safety meetings and uphold health and safety standards Review and approve risk assessments and method statements Plan and oversee monthly PPMs and quality spot checks Liaise with clients and subcontractors, deputise for the Service Manager as needed

Who are you?
Experienced supervisor with a strong background in mechanical and electrical building services within Hard FM Skilled in managing teams and coordinating multiple trades on site including grounds maintenance Proficient with CAFM systems for managing reactive and planned maintenance tasks Well-versed in health and safety legislation, with the ability to review risk assessments and method statements Strong organisational and communication skills for stakeholder management and reporting Reliable and professional with a positive attitude and commitment to high standards Comfortable working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and using Kronos for daily site attendance recording
