Meaningful Activities Coordinator - Market Harborough

Job Overview

Important note for candidates - unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role and the minimum number of hours available per week is 37.5. Please do not apply if you require sponsorship or cannot work the minimum number of hours as we will be unable to offer an interview.

We are also only looking for candidates who are able to demonstrate experience of working in a health or social care setting.

We are seeking a highly organised, motivated individual to work as a Meaningful Activities Coordinator on Ward 1 at St Luke's Hospital. You will be experienced in planning, resourcing and carrying out events and activities as the role will require you to do this for our patients, making a positive difference to their stay on the ward. The ward specialises in providing care for people who have experienced a stroke and your work with them will be so valuable in supporting their recovery and preventing further deconditioning.

You will be working with an experienced therapy team consisting of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Technical Instructors. We are a friendly and caring team working closely with the ward MDT, having the patient at the centre of everything we do whilst also involving families and carers. We are interested in hearing from you if you are a likeminded person having the same passion and drive to make a difference to our patients, which in return offers the reward of great job satisfaction.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
