Measured Surveyor
Measured Surveyor – Glasgow or Edinburgh

We are now recruiting a motivated and technically skilled Measured Surveyor in Glasgow or Edinburgh.
About the Role
Position: Measured Surveyor Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh (with assignments across Scotland and occasionally UK-wide) Flexibility: Hybrid of site and office work depending on project needs Team: Award-winning Building Advisory unit within an innovation-driven, sustainability-focused global firm
You will join a team focused on capturing, processing, and delivering high-quality survey data—supporting your clients with cutting-edge precision where it matters most.
Key Responsibilities

On-Site Data Capture
- Conduct surveys using Total Stations, laser scanners, GNSS, and UAS equipment.
- Establish and validate survey control networks to ensure accuracy.

Data Processing & Analysis
- Perform point cloud registration, control network adjustment, and photogrammetric reconstruction.
- Leverage CAD/Revit and photogrammetry to refine outputs.

Survey Deliverables
- Produce topographic surveys, measured building models, 3D renderings, and surveyed reports.
- Ensure all deliverables meet client requirements, specifications, and ** qualidade expectations**.

- Always represent Egis professionally, maintaining meticulous standards of quality and service.
- Lead effective reporting to clients, stakeholders, and internal stakeholders.

- Maintain a professional and positive demeanour in client interactions, consultancies, and on-site collaborations.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to align survey goals with project expectations.

Essential Requirements
- Education: Degree or HND in geospatial surveying, engineering (building/civil) or equivalent industrial experience.
- Competencies:
- Proficiency in survey instrumentation (Total Stations, GNSS, scanners).
- Command of CAD software (Revit experience a preference), photogrammetry, and data processing tools.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards and British/UK technical regulations.
- Professional Aspiration/Discipline:
- Interest in pursuing membership of RICS or CICES.

- Technical Expertise:
- Experience or qualification in Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS surveying).
- Soft Skills:
- Ability to multitask efficiently, meeting deadlines.

- Autonomous motivation with the capacity for positive collaboration with colleagues and clients.
