About the Role As a mechanic, you’ll play a vital role in safely preparing customers’ cars for the road ahead. Every detail matters – you’ll take pride in delivering a meticulous service while working closely with a dynamic, motivated team.

The opportunity covers a wide range of manufacturers and vehicle models, helping you develop expertise and grow your skills alongside the latest advancements in automotive technology.


Salary and Benefits

£40,000 – £50,000 DOE (plus benefits)

  • Performance bonuses: Additional earnings up to £9,000 every three years (subject to terms and conditions)

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

  • Certificate Required: Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3
  • Experience Needed: Solid background in the automotive industry
  • Strong ability to:
    • Work independently or as part of a fast-paced team
    • Employ strong communication skills
    • Focus on attention to detail
    • Maintain high standards and meet deadlines
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach
  • Competency to follow both written and verbal instructions precisely
  • A valid full driving licence

Daily Duties

  • Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards
  • Inspect engines and mechanical/electrical components using computer-based diagnostic tools
  • Repair/replace defective parts
  • Conduct DVSA vehicle testing (where applicable)
  • Conduct road tests to verify repairs
  • Maintain equipment and tools in optimal condition
  • Follow checklists strictly to ensure complete procedures
  • Complete all documentation to the required standard
