Mechanic
Vehicle Technician – Vertu Volvo Taunton
Join our team at Vertu Volvo Taunton and become a valued Vehicle Technician!
We are offering a basic salary between £28,840 and £45,800, depending on skills and experience.
In addition, we provide:
- A £1,000 sign-on bonus in month 1
- An additional £1,000 reward in month 13
About the Role
Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust, honesty, and quality workmanship. Achieving first-time fixes and high standards are core to everything we do.
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for technicians at all levels, with opportunities dependent on experience and qualifications. Here are some of the salary packages available:
- Service and Maintenance Technician: Up to £36,200
- Service and Diagnostic Technician: Up to £38,600
- Senior Technician: Up to £41,000
- Master Technician: Up to £45,800

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
- Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Preferred but not essential: MOT license
- Your own set of tools
- A full UK driving licence
